Lumbini Lions were crowned champions of the 2025 Nepal Premier League (NPL), winning the title for the first time in the club’s history. They secured the championship with a commanding six‑wicket victory over the Sudurpaschim Royals in the final at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur. The win marked a historic turnaround for the team and earned them the prestigious NPL trophy and prize.
PROMOTION TO TOP DIVISION LEAGUE
FC Khumaltar 2022
FC Khumaltar earned promotion to the Martyr’s Memorial A‑Division League by finishing as runners‑up in the 2022 B Division League. They secured second place on the table and clinched their spot in Nepal’s top‑tier football competition for the first time in club history, edging out rivals on head‑to‑head results to join the elite A Division next season.
